Joombo Case Study
UX & UI Design
Joombo assists restaurants and their employees in excelling at customer service while enhancing their online presence. Their exceptional digital platform manages online reputation and team performance, ensuring that both owners and staff are satisfied and motivated.
Problematic
The current JOOMBO interface lacks hierarchy information, and the restaurant administrators are extremely occupied. They need a platform that allows them to easily understand what’s happening in their business at a single glance.
Methodology
Ergonomic Audit
-
Few relevant informations
-
This kind of data visualisation doesn't allow to make conclusions quickly
-
Similar graphs could create confusion when comparing information
-
Comparative with other platforms doesn't allow to have a full overview
-
Hard to read really small information

Solution
-
How many reviews have we got? How many new reviews have come in? Featuring the whole total of reviews since using Joombo platform and shows how many have come in across platforms
-
What's the rating looking like? Is the rating going up or down? Featuring the total average rating from across platforms and showing their behaviour
-
How would you adapt the platform to display the data from several review sites (TripAdvisor, Yelp…) on the same dashboard? By adding a graph we could synthesize visually the behaviour of reviews or ratings through a frame of time
-
Are the Joombo Totems being used? This section allows us to see staff progress and how they use it. also allows them to see if they’re close to their monthly goal
-
How could we organize the information for several restaurants at once? This board allows us to compare our client's current position vs other restaurants. they can be displayed according to distance or can be searched directly. Only shows averages of all the possible platforms they could use
-
New feature: last received reviews at one glance Why don’t consider that we could place in the dashboard some of the latest reviews so the user can take a glance at what he has received.
